    INGREDIENTS

  • 425 ml or 1 3/4 cup all-purpose flour
  • 2 ml or 1/2 tsp baking soda
  • 2 ml or 1/2 tsp salt
  • 250 ml or 1 cup margarine softened
  • 250 ml or 1 cup granulated sugar
  • 2 or 2 eggs
  • 5 ml or 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 750 ml or 3 cups Kellogg's Frosted Flakes* cereal
  • 375 ml (1 1/2 cups)
  • 250 ml or 1 cup semi-sweet chocolate chips melted

DIRECTIONS

1. Stir together flours, soda and salt; set aside.

2. In large mixing bowl, beat margarine and sugar until light and fluffy. Add eggs and vanilla; beat well. Add flour mixture, mixing until well combined.
Stir in crushed cereal. Drizzle melted chocolate over dough. With knife, swirl melted chocolate gently through dough to achieve marbled appearance,
taking care not to overmix. Drop by rounded 15 ml measure (tablespoonful) onto ungreased baking sheets.

3. Bake at 180°C (350°F) about 12 minutes or until lightly browned. Remove
immediately from baking sheets and cool on wire racks.
